Victoriano Salado Álvarez (1867–1931) was a Mexican writer, a prominent figure on the debate about Modernism in Mexican literature. Ha also was the Secretary of Foreign Affairs for Mexico in 1911.
He was born in Teocaltiche in 1867. He held senior diplomatic posts in the government of Porfirio Diaz, in which he served as Secretary of Foreign Affairs for Mexico in 1911 and later as Mexican Ambassador to Guatemala. He died in Mexico City in 1931.[1]
